Connect your mailbox#
Text "connect my email" and pong sends a link, or open connected apps on the dashboard and pick Gmail or Outlook. You approve access on Google's or Microsoft's own page. One consent covers mail, calendar and contacts. You can have one mailbox connected at a time; connecting the other one replaces it.
What pong can do with it#

New mail wakes pong#
With your mailbox connected, pong is told when new mail arrives. Promotions, newsletters and sign-in codes are skipped. When a message actually needs you, pong texts you who it's from and what it's about, then does the next step a friend would: checks your calendar, sets a reminder, starts a watch, or drafts a reply for you to look at.
No separate pong address#
pong doesn't have its own email address. It works through yours, so replies come from you and land in your Sent folder. That also means pong can find sign-in codes that sites email you and type them in while it's browsing.
Privacy#
Mail from other people is treated as information, never as instructions, so an email can't tell pong to do something. Google data is used under Google's Limited Use rules, never to train models or for ads. Disconnect any time from the dashboard or by asking pong.
