Things pong does
Travel planning
Flights, stays and whole trips, compared across the sites a person would actually check.
Travel is where pong's parallel workers shine. A fare hunt runs on three sites at once. A whole trip is split into the stay, getting there and what to do, and comes back as one plan.
Thu 6:05 PM
sat: walk the old town, aux anciens canadiens for dinner, 7:30 is open
sun: train back 3:10pm
Flights#
- pong checks Google Flights, Kayak and Skyscanner at the same time, one worker per site.
- It starts from your home city, which it already knows, so "flights to new york" doesn't open with "from where?".
- A window you named ("sometime in march", "a long weekend") gets walked, not turned into a question: other days, other times, other airports.
- It looks at your calendar so it doesn't park you on a night you already have plans.
- Each option comes back with its price, times, stops and a screenshot of the fare page.
Stays#
Hotels come from Booking.com and Google Hotels, plus Airbnb when you want a whole place or ask for it. pong compares the same dates across them and tells you which site has the better price for the same room.
Whole trips#
For a trip, pong gives one worker to each part: the stay, getting there, and things to do. When they're back you get a concrete schedule, not a list of links. Restaurant tables are checked on the restaurant's own booking page or Resy and OpenTable, and anything with a time can come back as a calendar invite you tap to add.
Watching a fare#
Not ready to book? Ask pong to keep an eye on it: "tell me if this drops under $250". That becomes a watch that checks on its own and texts you only when something changes.
